Let me tell you about our mother, Jean

The best mother there has ever been.

Married to Michael the loveable rat,

Mother to Chris, Jane, Tom and her favourite, Ack!

Moved to Australia from her motherland

To work and toil and lend a hand.

Riding a horse with a grin on her face

Training each in readiness to race.

Played tennis, golf and told naughty jokes

For 50 years attended races with crazy and wonderful folks!

She’s outlived all of Mots “Dirty Dozen”

With Howlin’ Gale’s being the elixir that’s kept her buzzin’!
