2006 Cabernet Sauvignon                                  STELVIN

We are very excited to announce that the 2006 Cabernet won “Top of the Class” at the 2008 Melbourne Wine Show.

It won a Gold Medal with 56.0 points (out of 60) in Class 51 – Full Bodied Red (Wines with Character , Interest & Charm RRP $15 to $25).

This wine is Full bodied, concentrated and deep-welled with oak sweetness.  It and has rich textures and volatility to produce a full mouth fill.  It still possesses the classic Langhorne Creek subtle softness on the palette.

It should be noted that it picked up a bronze in the earlier 2008 Adelaide Wine Show.

In true Aussie fashion…………..”YOU CAN GO FOR GOLD WITH THIS ONE”
 

2006 "Force 10" Reserve Shiraz                           STELVIN

This wine is another cracker. It is rounded and balanced and has appreciated its sleeping time of 2 years in a combination of European & American fine oak.

The oak and fruit have integrated magnificently and this wine should continue to develop for years.

All the fruit from a single vineyard has classic shiraz overtones and the experts were extolling its virtues awarding it a high Silver Medal at the 2008 Melbourne Wine Show (53.5 points).

2005 Shiraz                                  "GREEN TOP" STELVIN

Flavours are in the dark berry spectrum, often with some gentle minty
and chocolate overtones. Lively fruit with some white pepper and oak
apparent.

It has a lovely richness after maturing in a combination of French and
American oak for two years.

It’s very easy drinking and you may be asking . ..“WHO DRANK MY GLASS?"
